This section of the site will hopefully expand over the coming months as I unearth old tapes and, with any luck, through user submissions.

If you have an pirate radio archives or amusing audio clips please send them to . If you do not have the facility to send submissions by e-mail you may post them -- address details on request.

Pirate Radio

The following RealAudio streams are taken from an old pirate radio station which broadcast to the west coast of Scotland in the 1980's. The show in question is the Anonymous Arthur show... enjoy!

Audio Clips

  • Water: A recorded telephone call to the local council requesting a plumber which quickly becomes offensive. I can guarantee the authenticity of this one because I was given the tape from the call centre and digitised it myself.
  • BT Call: Another recorded telephone call -- this time from BT to an angry ex-directory customer.
