I work for Newsquest, the UK subsidiary of Gannett Co.  The company is currently running The DIG, a incentive scheme to encourage innovation amongst its employees. 

Last week I was called to the MD’s office to receive an official, limited edition ”Gannett Innovator” mug in recognition of a suggestion I made recently.  We’re planning to trial my (top secret, of course!) idea locally first.  Hopefully if it’s a success we’ll roll it out across the UK… maybe the world.

I’ll of course keep the blog posted if the idea makes it.

There was a total lunar eclipse, visible across Europe on Saturday, 3 March 2007. I took some photos from my garden in Scotland.
