At Bright Signals we’ve been expanding our in-house video capabilities over the past year. What started as a bit of a sideline in creating funny videos for social media has developed into a more substantial offering, with script writers, camera operators, animators and editors all in-house, plus a network of talented freelance specialists that we work with on a regular basis.
Earlier this year we were commissioned by s1 to create a new ad campaign, including TV and radio, that would take the brand back to the fun, cheeky humour it had in the early days of the Lavvy Heid and Ice Cream Van ads.
We developed the campaign from strategy through to script, storyboard, production, special effects and edit in just over a month.
Thanks to the lovely people at s1 who encouraged us to push the limits, always opting for our most ridiculous option at every turn. And I’m sure the ad is better for all of that.
